If you suffered through these movies you know what I mean.

The first one was just shameless ripoff country but the others just kept getting worse and worse. We wife and I were committed to riding out the horror train but it was tough.

I read all these books but the last one. It was all written from the point of view of Whatsherface but then the last alternated between Whatsherface and Thatguy. I read like 3 chapters then put the book back on the shelf.

They were underwhelming - should have watched Hunger Games again.

I was about to say that Scorch Trials had some fun scenes in it, but then I realized that’s a completely different series with identical characters and plot to Divergent.

I started watching it on a flight with one of the newer Airbuses where each seat gets a screen and a menu of free movies. It hurt from the opening credits, but I couldn’t look away, kinda like:

My son and I started to make up movie names that rhymed. It was more fun than the movies.
Detergent (they all finally take a bath!)
Urgent (someone’s got to go potty!)
Fervent (I want to leave the theater, fervently)
Emergent (maybe if I stop seeing stupid, and stupidly expense movies, some cash will emerge into my savings account).
OK, that’s all I got....

Hey, now. No reason to assume the worst of this guy. Maybe he’s a math professor.

Is it based on those movies where they live in an apocalyptic world but refuse to have sex before marriage?

Newer? I’ve been flying to Japan for years and they’ve had TV and movies on demand for each seat a pretty long time.

I’m sure you’re right. I’m usually flying American on interstate flights with their old MD-80s. I rarely see video on demand with those. When I say newer, I mean on the planes they’ve purchased more recently. Sometimes I fly Southwest, but those 737s do not have video on demand either.
